In response to the National Gallery's live brief, the film explores gatekeeping and limited access by following a young Black ballerina as she performs for a fickle, uninterested audience. Although the initially curious audience loses interest, the ballerina's performance continues to intensify, ending with an emotive even if the audience is inattentive.
